Hei alle sammen da har jeg testet litt for og se hvordan vi kan bruke litt kabel TV også :)

Det finns en meget rimlig og meget god Tuner fra Xbox den er på vei ut så dere må handle rask here :)

Jeg har testet den på Gets kabel TV i Norge og den virker fint, nå bruker Get NDS cryptering så det i seg er ju et problem

men fant et par FTA kanaler så vet at det virker. Og jeg har ikke tenkt til å gå in på hvordan sette opp Softcams her.

Men det du trenger er og installer drivern som er dib0700

den installerer du enklet fra telnet:

opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb-dib0700

Men husk dette er en USB tuner så ikke plug den in før du installert drivern.

Best er og installere drivern pluggin tuner og ta en full reboot.

Nå vil du finne den sist i listen av dine tuners :)

Nå er det bare og konfigurere etter behov.

Noen leverantører ligger der så er bare og velge den som passer i ditt Kabel Nettverk

If you Install one of the OE-Alliance images in the flash, lets say OpenBlackhole because that image have a USB Format Tool easy to use.

Then linux filesystem format an Usb Memory Stick and mount as what ever you want.

Install Open MultiBoot from plugins menu.

And now you can install every image you can find for your Vu+ Stb :)

Lots of easy testing can be done on the fly, just reboot into any image

And when you have one you like (Pure2) you can safely feck it up without have to re flash all the time ;)

bestman22 for good IPTV serviceApp is not nessesery. DreamOS do not use serviceApp only built in Enigma2 player

Same with Blackhole even if with Blackhole you can install serviceApp (ExtePlayer3)

And i know for a fact that KiddaC who is the author of Jedi do not use serviceApp

But for dodgy IPTV (Crappy codecs) and re streams ExtePlayer3 can be a better choice.

But IPTV good or bad has nothing todo with Images and surtenly not this Image :)

Another issue with serviceApp, its closed source so therefor its hard to even figure out what could be the problem

Its sad that more and more of enigma2 coding goes dark now days, But i guess that hard working coders are tierd of

answering questions from users that have a bad copy of the original code ;)

I am 99% sure this is not a skin issue but i also see in some of the log files there is some skin errors

so bestman22 have you try any other skin and the Estuary skin?

Du skal bruke Common Interface assignment.

Da legger du in de kanaler du vill decode fra CI+ modulen i en liste der.

Når du gjort det så vill CI+ modulen kun decode desse kanaler og alle de andre vil Oscam ta seg av

because its a limitation in the broadcom chipset used in the Zero 4K ;)

But of cause you might be able and write a software transcoder, and remember that AVI is not a codec its a conatiner only.

So can be many diffrent codec used inside the avi file. Most common are DivX and Xvid

Its a hardware choice from Vu+ to priorities Streaming before playback. Zero 4K is a UHD Zapper/Streamer box

But they later released a PVR Kit and i think with this kit you can restream/playback avi containers

fairbird and Melgas if you both have the same Dreambox then just create a full backup image of yours fairbird and send to melgas

and he can try that image.

But i agree Pure2 6.5 on VU duo4k is great, and drivers that are bad will be still be bad for all images....

Plugin thats working should of cause stay even if they are old :)

But i am pretty sure that there are lots that have not been maintained for many years

Maybe setup a special thread divided into the Team Image builds where users of corresponding image could report back??

Yes the 6.5 Pure2 works perfect for me in all my Vu+ devices. I dont have Cable so cant say much about that

But for Sat and IPTV no issues and all the plugins built in by default in the image works as they should.

I have never been much of a fan to fill up my devices with 100 of plugins i dont use.

I allways do test the plugins from the image feed but all users should help out here.

There are lots of old plugins in the feeds of all images that should be tested and filtered out.

This does not consern Pure2 only, this is about all images.

So keep it going and users, do give feedback even when thing works as they should ;)

But i can say as much as this. Pure2 works very good and stable on all Vu+ devices :thumbup:

gorski I know that you and me have allredy agree to disagree about Vu+ ;) :)

But we can agree at one thing, It works very good with Pure2 image. And bestman22 having a slow IPTV provider.

And jenseneverest there was an advatage for Pli early when IPTV arravide because they where first with serviceApp plugin.

Today all OE 2.0 builds have this plugin. Also my opinion is, if your provider cant deliver good IPTV where you need any third-party plugin

well then say thanks and move on to the next one ;)

If you want to now more abut the Zero 4K and its harware read the excellent review by Ev0

I told about the intended use of the Zero 4K and that i also think that this should be better informed by thoose selling this UHD Zapper

but to call it poor is totaly wrong. This is a fast little devil and when used as intended. The Zero 4K is excellent.

It was the first to fully support Multistream and blind scan. It works very good with the Pure2 image both as the Sat/cable and live IPTV

Probably better then most others out there. But yes it does not play avi containers, but there is no need for that since the .mkv

is the standard for 99% of all VOD and all Devices record .ts format. Xvid and DivX is old and outdated

So bestman22 have a little patience with the Pure2 Team and wait until the 6.5 image is finally tweaked. Or get another IPTV Provider.

In my testing for KiddaC and his plugin Xstreamity i cant see any diffrence from the Zero 4K to my Uno4Kse or DreamOne UHD that are

a monster of hardware, cpu, ram and so on compare to all the other suggested devices.

General in my testing i cant see any diffrence in speed between PLi and all the other images.

bestman22 Well if your IPTV works with your Zero 4K and PLi image using XC, Xstreamity or JediMakerXstream.

They should all work just fine with Pure2 and you should be able to watch all live streams and most of the VOD.

If so then i can inform that some of the HD channels from Canaldigital has change sid so you need to rescan and update your channel list

Open Telnet connection to your Dreambox

then type this:

journalctl -f> /tmp/log.txt

Now press enter and then go to your Dreambox do what you are doing until crash and reboot.

now go back to your telnet window and press CTRL+C to stop logging.

Now in folder /tmp/ you find the file log.txt upload the log file as attachment
