jokosat i don't know why you want to change, A or C doesn't matter but this is the way (at your own risk)

    1. Connect to your router. You need the user name (usually admin or Admin) fill the password (if you changed it) or use the default (usually admin or Admin). The default is specified in the router manual. You see my router is a D-Link.
    2. Select Local Network from menu.
    3. Change 10.0.0.138 to let say 192.168.0.1 and don't modify the Subnet Mask. If you want a start and an end IP Address for DHCP server give something between 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.254. As you can see i use a range between 32 and 64 and this is more than you need in a small local net but a small pool will be searched faster so you can reduce it and begin with 2. DCC search from 1 to 255 and will find imediatelly your devices but you can change the DCC search interval too.
    4. And of course don't forget to use Apply/Save before exiting the router configuration.

I fyou have any device configured with static address change it to the same net class preferable outside of you DHCP pool.
After router configuration every device including your computer need to receive an address from DHCP before connecting. Restart the Network in Enigma, check the address and look at the Gateway (must be the same as your new router address).

All you need is all your devices to be in the same IP address range (your computer and your receiver).
Is not important in which Class but the same Class and for your computer with a right mask.
The Private IP Adresses (for local nets) are
    Class A 10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255 (16777216 addresses)
    Class B 172.16.0.0-172.31.255.255 (1048576 addresses)
    Class C 192.168.0.0 -192.168.255.255 (65536 addresse)
My router address is 10.0.0.138 and of course the DHCP will distribute addresses from a pool of 254 addresses to every device in my local net (Ipad, Android devices, Computers and satellite receivers)
My computer will receive an address in this range because my net card is configurated with a mask of 255.255.255.0.
Usually i use DCC and never even heard about VuCC but i found it and downloaded 0.4b version. I saw it use Filezila to connect to FTP and you need one more time in Filezila to enter the host IP address (in normal mode as 10.0.0.39) the user, the password and the PORT (21 for FTP)
VuCC is very simple. All you have is to enter the receiver address (you must know it) and to enter the receiver address as 010.000.000.039 or 010.000.000.100
Most routers use the Class C 192.168... but others (as mine use Class A 10.0.... and is no difference, all you need is to have all the devices you want to connect in the same range.
I was able to connect to every one of my dreamboxes (one having a static address and the others dynamic addresses received from the DHCP.
So again, all you need is to enter the address of you receiver in this strange format with leading zeros.

    - Some Dreambox remotes may behave very sensitive.
This causes button presses to register multiple times instead of just once.
As a workaround you can adjust the key interval:
Go to: Menu - System - Input devices - dreambox remote control (native).
Set "Change repeat and delay settings" to yes
Set "Interval between keys when repeating:" to 200ms or 300ms.
    Press green button (OK)
Now set the same delay for: "dreambox advanced remote control (native)" as well.

    - DM800 first boot will take a while, please be patient. The next boot will be faster.

    Flash extender for DM800, DM800Se and DM500HD:
Since these receiver only feature 64MB of internal flash space, I ve been unable to ship all packages.
ffmpeg, exteplayer3, gst1.0-libav, mediaplayer2, iptv player, subssupport etc.. are missing due to insufficient space.
That s why I ve created a simple PPanel script for moving the entire internal flash to an external storage device such as internal hdd or usb disk.
The PPanel will also install all the missing packages for you.

    See the image below

    However please note that:
    - It will format your storage device thus deleting everything.
    - It s not compatible with other flash-extenders such as barry alen, multiboot etc...
    - You ll need a working internet connection when running the PPanel or else it cannot install the missing packages.
    - You need to patient! As the script runs you ll only see a black screen which an take up to 15 minutes depending on the size/speed of your storage device and your internet connection.

You can find it under Blue Panel -> PPanels

I repeat, according to my experience in other forums users with so much posts are an exception and we are all grateful. If you know how to use the codes is better but still your links are useless. Look at this, no difference using your new links compared to the previous ones.

Of course i can download from Newnigma2 site and make my image with my prefered plugins as before but if you upload please put something users here can use.

By the way if someone wants to download images this is the link (in codes)

    Code
    http://feed.newnigma2.to/daily/images/

I suppose I can write the same in every one of 8 posts with Newnigma2 posted today and I suppose too is not something new in this user posts.
May I ask you why an user with almost 1800 posts continue to post nice posts with bad links?
In forums the majority of users do nothing but download and only a minority is active so this uploader is a good exception but please dear forum staff explain him how to put a link in codes instead of png images. Using Go Advanced even if the user don't know how to write codes he can use the editor.

192.168.1...and 192.168.0.. are not the same class C subnet. If your box and your computer are connected to the same router and receive IP adresses using the router's DHCP adresses pool they will be in the same subnet. Maybe your computer have a private address and a wrong mask. It must be 255.255.255.0 or configure it to take an address using the DHCP. When both will be in the same subnet is no reason to not connect.

I have four d800se and i checked a lot of images (really a lot). The best in my opinion is Open PLi you can download always the last daily image here (see Image/Firmware in the first row). I have an USB attached where i expand the memory using a script from this site and a lot of plugins etc. having always about 22-24 MB free. Usually i add IPTV Player, Kodidirect and some other but together with my list of IPTV channels and 3 satellites is always too much. Flashing an image take a few minutes, restoring my settings with E-channelizer and installing my plugins another few minutes. I use this image in receivers having A8P sim, Sim2 and Japhar and as i said in my opinion is the best. For ca problem i used in the past SUNRAY-Flashup (they are other versions) and a minimal image (in my case was an old Italysat 4.0). Good luck.
