My old original DM800HD is still on dream-elite with oscam installed with the help of masterG 2 years ago=O
Im now looking to update to a new image to something a little newer that supports IPTV but can still run oscam if possible.
I was browsing around a while back and came across an image with oscam built in but cannot find it anymore.
OpenTS image looks to be well supported so Im considering moving to that but would like opinions from other users if possible and any helpful pointers.
The DM800 has served me well and im hoping to get a little more enjoyment out the old girl ;)

My card is no longer read in oscam r1124.

Official model is DRX890 with freeview 0963 card.
Im using the config master G kindly edited for me but......

Yeah card is paired with my official receiver but I've just been watching the active status on Oscam webif.
It does use the local card but switches back and forth from local card to peers with that card entitlements.
Under global I've changed local cards to 2- prefer local cards over cache ex -

Update loaded image as per h@cked and showing exactly as mention.
Added user via webif and managed to get connection :thumb:
BUT im still not using my local card webif shows the entitlements and valid expiry but when entitle channel selected doesnt use card ??
If I disconnect peers card is still not used -
okay i just added the dvbai I take it that I just delete the users within webif add to etc/tuxbox in zip format ?

You must enter your channel list for 28.2E with DreamboxEdit (I do not have this access to 28.2E)this is a start to revive the card, you will learn oscam step by step as all other people.

When I loaded a clean r005 image the addons from the extra URL just hung and didn't load on my gen DM800.
But I was using my r003 back up config from my hdd. I need to use this as USUALS don't do the job for me.- - - Updated - - -

Only Oscam I can load and shows as card server is v8a from extra URL.
I've installed that and have it selected as card server with cccam 2.1.3 as softcam with config of my bx I'd and f&c lines.
Not sure what I need to do next and if it going to work out ?

Completely screwed my box but managed to recover with DE4 r003.
Clean image now installed, extra URL and my ccc2.1.3 installed with my back up cccam.cfg
Master g ipk file flashed but still only have cccam available as soft cams and nothing in card server.
Read so many posts tonight I've confused everything. So before I balls it all up again can you help from the point I'm at trying to get my 0963 to update again.
I've also tried to web browse into Oscam with box ip:8888 but nothing:26_002: -
Should the file be unpacked before FTP ?
Any attributes to be changed ? -
Thanks master G I'm running dreamelite v4 with cccam 2.1.3 which is all I've ever used and this is my very first step into Oscam.
Just looking to get my 0963 working in my DM800 again and updating if possible.
