Support the Upgrade – Make a One-Off Contribution (No Membership)

Want to help LinuxSat-Support without taking out a membership? The “Support the Upgrade” products are simple one-off contributions that go straight toward our server and forum upgrade. This short guide shows you how — including paying with cryptocurrency.
Step 1 – What “Support the Upgrade” is
These are one-off contributions — nothing more. Unlike a membership, they do not grant any usergroup, badge or perks. They are purely a way to chip in toward running costs and the upgrade. You can choose any amount from £5 to £250 (£5, £10, £25, £50, £100 or £250).

Step 2 – Open the Shop and pick an amount
From the top menu, open the Shop, then choose the “Support the Upgrade” category. Open the amount you'd like to give and click the Buy button.
Step 3 – Review your cart, then proceed to checkout
Your contribution appears in the Cart (cart icon, top-right). Check the amount and total are correct, then click Proceed to checkout.
Oops — added the wrong item? Remove it from your cart
Made a mistake? It's easy to fix before you pay. Open your Cart (the cart icon, top-right), then click the × (Delete) icon next to the item you want to remove. There's no single “empty cart” button — just delete each item, and once they're all gone your cart is empty and you can start again.
Step 4 – Accept the terms and choose a payment method
Tick the box to accept the terms and privacy notice, then choose how to pay — Credit Card or Apple Pay (instant), Alipay, SEPA Debit or Invoice. Confirm to complete your contribution.
Prefer crypto? Step 5 – Pay with cryptocurrency
On the checkout page you'll also find an “Alternative Crypto Payment” box. Pick your amount and pay securely (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin and more). Crypto payments are confirmed manually — but because there is no membership to activate, there's nothing more you need to do. If you'd like your contribution acknowledged, feel free to send an administrator your payment confirmation.
