How to flash a Dreambox One UHD Android Enigma2 Receiver

You can flash the Dreambox One UHD (Android) through its browser-based rescue mode, or put it into rescue mode from telnet. Download your image first:

Browser method

1. Power off the Dreambox One UHD via the rocker switch on the rear panel.
2. Turn the Dreambox One UHD on from the rear switch. As soon as the LED above the on/off button lights up, hold it down (push upward) and release immediately — the IP address then appears on the TV screen.
3. Type the IP address of the Dreambox One UHD into a browser (or http://dreamone) and press Enter.
4. Click the Firmware upload button.
5. Click Browse, find the downloaded image, double-click it, then press Go!
6. Important: remove the check marks from Backup and Restore Settings.
7. When you see "Finished successfully. You may reboot now", click Click here to reboot.

Telnet method

You can also put the Dreambox One UHD into Rescue Mode from telnet. Copy and paste each line into telnet / PuTTY, pressing Enter after each:

echo "rescue" >> /proc/stb/fp/boot_mode
reboot

Then follow the browser steps above.
