I didn't know where to ask this.

I would like to know. If I backup system settings and image backup on a Technomate Nano 2 super ( Linux) Openpli enigma2. Can I do a restore onto a VU+ duo stb.?

You can`t restore a backup from a different receiver, it will only work for the model it was taken from..

no, you should not even try and why would you want to?? download the correct image to the vu+ duo and copy the configuration. You would not put diesel in an unleaded engine, same applies to images. Use the correct one.
