Hi,

I have a VU+ Solo2. The system came with Virtuosso Image Xtreme and I am trying to get it connect to HotBird 13E.

I am new to this and I am hoping someone will be able to help me please. I have managed to get the FTV channels working but I don't know how to configure a softcam to read my card in the card slot.

Please can someoe point me in the right direction.

Its a Cyfrowy Polsat card.

I have another question. How do I prevent my card being blocked by the provider? From what I have read it is something to do with EMM's is that correct

Do you have the boxkey and the rsakey for this card ? Without these you won`t be able to read the card with oscam in any other receiver than the official decoder..

How to : Oscam Server or Cardreader with CCcam2.1.3 Polsat IPK

If you block EMM`s the card won`t update entitlements.. When the provider decides to turn off the card there is no way to protect it..

I don't have the key's. How can I get the keys? Do I need a card reader of some type?

To get the boxkey, convert the serial number from underneath the official decoder with this tool -> BoxKey Generator

The rsakey or more difficult to acquire, you need specialized programming equipment that can take a dump from the chip on the mainboard of the official decoder, then you need to decipher the rsakey. We don`t support this type of process on the forum..
