better of just using firestarter set to auto boot into kodi no need for any shortcuts
-
Here if anyone doesn't know how to get koi to load and bypass the home screen
Short Version:
Enable "ADB Debugging" and "Apps from Unknown Sources" in Developer Options
Install "ES File Explorer" from Amazon App Store (search for "Es File")
Add a Favorite in "ES File Explorer" which "Path" is set to http://qr.net/firetv and "Name" is set to fire
Open the Favorite to download a .zip-file containing FireStarter
Open the .zip-file and select the FireStarter APK file for installation
Follow the installation routine and open FireStarter
If you want also install Kodi, go to "Updates"-section in FireStarter and select "Update to latest Version" for Kodi
Voila, both is installed :) -
Is there a way around installing es file explorer if you have no payment option setup on the account?
