Mgcamd logs

    I need some technical advise.

    I am logging mgcamd for some time due to some periodic stops and restarts of mgcamd 1.35a I get this error.



    "[mgcam] read error error 110: Connection timed out"



    What does it mean and can it be fixed?

    changed newcamd dead routes from 300 to 600

  • Can I ask how you enabled logging I tried to amend to this in the mg_cfg


    # Log option, summ of:
    # 00 off
    # 01 network udp log
    # 02 log to console
    # 04 file, appended ! delete it by yourself, before it eat all your hdd
    # + IP udp-port log-file-name
    L: { 04 } /tmp/mgcamd.log


    But there is no output in the file.

    Sorry only just seen your reply apologies, thank you I did actually work it out that if I used the iP of the box it would write to itself, but once again thank you for your reply
