45cm Sky dish will pull in 19e, but for motorized a 60cm will do, although an 80cm is the norm if you're going after other sats.

thanks for the info tk so you can confirm you get all movistar on a 80cm dish ?

I can't personally confirm, but 19e is a powerful bird, it used to be used by skyUk for analogue, so I see no reason why it wouldn't.

a 60cm dish would suffice no problem but an 80cm would give you extra margin for rain fade issues

ok so i have now managed to get hold of an eliptical 80cm dish with a quad lnb i supppose its a sly standard dish, had a quick go tonight to tune it to 19e but could not get signal, whats the strongest transponder on this sat to pull in ? or could it be the sly quad lnb thats the problem ? i could lock onto 28,2 without problem, i am using a sat box to read signal streangh and quality,
any ideas guys -

If it is the Sky Zone 2 60cm dish with correct LNB then you will also need to adjust the 'Skew' on the LNB as the official LNBs are preset to 28.2° east Skew

thanks for input guys,
ive fitted the 80cm eleptical ex sly dish and its pulling 90% on 19e i have all of the movistar package clearing nicely, ive linked it to another dish fixed on 28,2e with diseqc , nice -
Glad to hear it bud,,,
wish I were able to pull in full 28.xº :(
never mind ,we shall persevere!! -
yes seems a bit mad caz that over there they make it so hard to pull in 28e, where as here in uk we can pull lots of sats, long live 27w i say :)
