I have vu+solo2 and I want to play 3D movies from HDD.
I am use factory cable. so I wonder if that Cable Inadequate or needed to
buy a new cable supports 3d?

You don`t need a special HDMI cable, the factory cable that came with the solo2 will carry 3D content..
