open pli 4 dm800

hi guys. i have a dm800hd installed open pli 4 iptv. i am having trouble initializing hard disk. it keeps saying error.:required tool . mkfs.ext3 not found. i tried with different hdd same ting. when i try to mount it says no fdisk

someone plz help as i want to record euros. most days i been missing it

i am trying to format the hdd with ubutntu. can you or anyone tell me what partion table i should use? file sytetmtype? any partions? label?
