cable tuner in ultimo

hi all i have put a cable tuner in my ultimo and connected my cable feed and dun a scan but found nothing ? do you put the frequency in manually for the area you live in ??? it dose not find anything at all ?? hope someone can cast some light on this ??? cheers

got it going you have to use the right netid for your area ? here are the area netids for uk cable

just been looking now the usual fta stuff m8 ? and when it has scanned it puts then under satellite and in a cable folder ? its ok if you have no Ariel m8
