i go to linuxsat panel/keyupdater and error with "cannot open"
oe2.2 plugins causes crash
oe2.2 softcam causes crash
After changing skin to metrix the gi is great responsive, but the same problems, so i think is there ant setting i should change from the install, like a password somewhere?
The crashes ask for me to send the logfile, which I will gladly, but the screen is too quick for me to see where. -

I reinstalled and although not sure of this, but it seemed a litlle different as It didnt ask me questions as to language, to configure the satellite, it went straight to it
Lo and behold it is now working, NO CRASHES, which is brilliant, although stll no keys will work, should they work now?, or is there still something to be done?
I have been looking for the logs you ask for, but as yet not found them. -
The keys are old, you need to update them.

on the imageopenatv, how could I stream the dreambox to my pc over the lan?

I've tried to update this firmware. And now I have a dead or semi dead Dreambox 525. I don't know what's going on. But now I can't connect via DHCP for running it in the rescue mode. Seems network connection isn't working. Because I check all my DCHP connections. And I don't see a dreambox mac address with assigned IP address.
Before I tried about 8 custom firmwares and they run without any problem. This one I tried because a lot of included softcams

Never try an online update with old firmware.
OpenATV is currently at 6.0, with 6.1 due to be released.
Can you connect with telnet / putty ?
Power off the box from the switch at the back
Power on again, with the same hand press and hold the power button on the front.
You will see a sequence of colours blinking on the power button. Blue, purple then red, then a constant blinking blue.
Release the power button when it starts to blink blue.
If you don`t see a sequence of colours blinking on the power button you have pressed it too quickly.

Install the softcam feed and download mgcamd from there (plugins menu > green button > softcams)
