no data found on transponder

hi this past 2 days I'm having a strange issue and I don't know why it started happening. for some reason my screen goes blank and when I change channel it says no data on transponder. I tried manual scan on auto boutiques but doesn't fix anything. the only thing that seems to work is a full restart of my reciever ( vu plus duo 2) I'v recently updated to vix 4.2. anyone else have the same issue or even know what's causing it??
