yea i see it on my oscam status page, i have a remote reader which a friend gave to me for my misses to watch tv globo (a brazilian station) and under the protocol section its says its cccam_ext (2.3.0-3367) and then on the reciever upstairs i have oscam running on it too with a reader which i made using a cline from my main box and under the protocol section on it it just says cccam (2.3.0-3367), i was just wondering what the _ext part meant!

what does cccam_ext mean and what's the difference between cccam and cccam_ext.

hi should i be worried about using a vpn if im only sharing with family? obviously its not my family im worried about but maybe the isp can trace that they are connecting to my network and start to ask questions? or am i being paranoid!

i clicked on the users tab but it doesnt really give a log like the log you see when i click live log, any way of seeing a live log for each user on their own?

hi how can i see indivudal logs for users in oscam? i have oscam running on my vu duo 2 and have a few family members connected to it, at the minute i just open a web browser and type the ip of dreambox followed by the port and i get the oscam webif, but it shows all the logs in the one list, is there any way to seperate them so its a bit easzier to read! i only have a laptop running windows and i came across cccaminfophp but it doesnt connect for me then i noticed oscaminfophp but looks like its only for linux pc.

yes thats excatly what i want to do, however im just after looking at my oscam webif and it now shows him as connected and online. any ideas why its now online and wasnt before? maybe for the sake of it if you could go threw the steps of how to connect box a with oscam to box b with cccam, just to see if i covered everything? thanks

to connect oscam to cccam should i be creating an N line (or L line) rather than a C line??

and is the reason that the user is now showing as online because i created a F line in my cccam.cfg?? so what i gather from my reading is to give a peer a C line i need to create a F line, but i can do without the F line and just create a user and give the peer an N line? I cant put it to the test until tomorrow cuz its a bit late to be running up n down to me das!! also iv just after reading that its also possible to make a L line to give a peer which apparently gives faster ecm as there are no deskeys as in an N line. So could anybody out there advise on which method is best, to give the peer a C, N or L line?? would save me alot of running about tomorrow!!! thanks! or even just tell me if i have it totaly wrong! lol

i have managed to set up oscam running cccam, i have everything running as it should, the problem i have is trying to reshare, i have created an account in users (cccam account) and forwarded the port, have dns etc etc and got the user account i created to run on my dads box but only by putting oscam on his box too, it wouldnt work in CCcam 2.3.0. i made the c line, put it in CCcam.cfg in etc (vix) started CCcam 2.3.0 (also tried other versions 2.1.2) but the channels wouldnt clear, went home and went to my oscam webif and it showed that he was connected (but not online)
i put oscam 1.0.2 on his box put the configs in and went to his webif and it showed my line but where its supposed to say connected it said needs init. any ideas?? i then went and ran the softcam named just oscam (one of the latest i think) and with all the same configs and the line i gave him showed as connected and online and was clearing channels.
what i want to know is how do i get the user account to run by just using CCcam 2.3.0 on his box??
All the configs i have for oscam are the ones master g put up here.

just updated and seems alot better maybe I'd go as far as saying it's perfect!!! many thanks..I didn't have any issues when using epg on this release, I'm using duo2.

just updated from 002 to 003 openvix 4.2 and my vu duo2 seems to take longer to respond ie it seems slower, would it be the update that caused this (cuz it wasnt as slow before the update) or would there be another reason?? how could i check to see whats running in the background? maybe i could disable so plugins or stuff like that, might help? its especially slow navagiting threw the favourites boutiques ie going from entertainment to music or from kids to sports etc anybody else having this issue??

i would say in and around that price you should go for vu+ solo se v2 and use the latest vix image 4.2 and you can install vuplus kodi from the plugins, great plugin, its the same kodi as your thinking off. if you wanted a budget box for around 100 go for edision os mini and same as above use vix 4.2. The solo would prob run kodi more smooth though.

hi this past 2 days I'm having a strange issue and I don't know why it started happening. for some reason my screen goes blank and when I change channel it says no data on transponder. I tried manual scan on auto boutiques but doesn't fix anything. the only thing that seems to work is a full restart of my reciever ( vu plus duo 2) I'v recently updated to vix 4.2. anyone else have the same issue or even know what's causing it??

hi when i upgraded to 4.2 and re done all the settings on the box (vu duo 2) the openwebif doesnt work when i enable http auth. the user name and pass i enter are the same as that i use for FTP etc so it cant be a user or pass problem. openwebif works perfectly fine with no http auth but i have my reciever set up for remote viewing so this is a security issue for me as bascially i have no security enabled. anybody else experiencing this problem or know the issue??

watchmovies25 is working perfect at the minute and also mdwatchseries. use them two for now and when they stop working move on to the next one and try it. trial and error best method for sucess, dont just keep trying the ones that used to work move on!!!

maybe an easier way to stop porn would be not to stop it but to hide it, in autoboutiques go to the settings and go to hide sections and select the adult channels, save and rescan and every time it auto scans you wont have porn channels.

searched in the new panel which i must say looks amazing! more for me to play with lol but i couldnt find a module named plistlib can anyone help?

had this plugin working fine with openvix 3.2 but when i updated to 4.1 it says i need a module called plistlib. where can i get that module and put it on my box, vu duo 2. i tried in tspanel under linuxsat support addons but it says server down, usually i find stuff like that under dependencies

I updated vlc and the timote app on android tv box and it now works

anyone know what the '' I '' icon with a box around it , in the vfd display on a vu duo 2 is or means?? it only seems to come on when the channel is on a movie channel, sky uk.
