reason im trying to change the default 8001/8002 ports is because i think someone is watching my tv. Iv changed everything in the past but somehow someones got threw again. I changed my password again and the http port from 80 to ### but still someone is using up one of my tuners. when i dont allow the ports 8001/8002 threw my firewall on router the person cant get threw and my tuner is free for me to use, however that means that i cant get threw either so i wana change them from default to something random to make it harder for them. still cant understand how there getting threw in first place though as theres a password on the stream!

i have changed the http port from default 80 to a random one of my choice, is the actual streaming port 8001 not a different thing altogether? (whats that HTTPS option?)

how do i change the streaming port from the default 8001? i have managed to change the transcoding port 8002 as i can clearly see the option to do it but cant find an option to change the 8001 port.

hi maybe a bit of a strange question but is there a way to configure the autobouquets maker on vu duo2 running openvix hades image to add the same channel more than once if there are multiple SIDs for the same channel? Reason being is that I was watching the gaelic on sky sports 5 yesterday and it kept freezing, however any other channel I tried was perfect, so I emailed my provider and he said that sky sports 5 has more than one SID and I must try other SIDs if I get freezing. for me at the minute the only way I can pick up the same channel on different SIDs is to do a manual blind scan but if I could get the auto bouquets maker to add the channel on each of the SIDs then I wouldn't have to do a scan every time it changes frequency etc etc

nothing i tried worked, in the end i got the box exchanged for another, i put it down to a factory default, hope who ever you bought the box of is as nice as the person i bought mine off!!

hi i found an old tm500 super in the bin at work!!! boss threw it out so i went bin hoaking and took it lol anyway iv saved it from the dumpster and gave it a little clean, pluged it in at home and what do you know it works well. Iv put my own cline into it and its working away, however i need to update the channel list. anybody know where i can find an up to date channel list and also i need to know how to install it. iv been looking around on the forum but cant find any new info as of course its an old box. If i can get the channel sorted i can use the box in my bedroom. Im more used to the eginma 2 boxes, i have a vu+ duo2 in the living room.

hi i updated to hades 16 and now my you tube isnt working via the hbbtv plugin. it still works fine via tsmedia. but when i press the blue button and then go to you tube and press green for start it starts the operaweb browser instead for some reason. should i go back to a previous version of hades or is there another fix? i assume it has stopped working because i updated as thats the only thing i can think would have caused it but please correct me if im wrong. im using a vu duo 2. thanks im advance and any help much appreciated!

does this work on openvix vu duo2?

iv spent the past while messing around with the lcd display on my duo2. i have it set it to a state i can say im happy with! however my attention is now turned to the vfd display beside it. can this be modified? im looking to make the clock bigger if possible??

i left it a while and tried again and its working now. i didnt restart the box just tried again, bit weird but at least its working. must have been my internet that had the problem. probably was able to connect via dcc as it was on my home network and probably doesnt require an outside internet connection. anyway main thing is its working :40_002::58_002:

im trying to download plugins, im on vix hades 11 and when i press green for download it says that my reciever isnt connected to the internet even thou it is and i can access it threw dcc. are the feeds down at the minute or whats the problem, ps iv tried on another reciever and both give the same message. tried on vu duo2 and zgemma star 2s both on vix hades

can i put 2 DVB-S2 DUAL TWIN Tuner Modules into my box. so i willl have 4 Lnb ins? at the minute i have lnb in/loop out and lnb in/lnb in. i want to change the lnb in/loop out for another lnb in/lnb in. the reasoin i ask is i read somewere that only certain tuner modules can go into the first slot so dont want to waste money buying one and it not being able to go into the first slot. im pretty sure it can be done but il ask first!!!

normally only after a full restart, however im just after testing both restarts and i never got the message at all. its just a bit weird that it says not possible and then i test it out and it works fine.

openvix hades

when i turn my box on i get the message 'timeshift not possible' even thou timeshift is working perfectly fine. any ideas on why im geting prompted with the message on startup??

having same problem, my ondemand is not working, iv tried the above but no good. im using a vu duo2 with openvix apollo. I have a zgemma 2s running openvix hades and ondemand works no problem on it. do i have to reflash my duo2 to update to hades or is there another way. would that even sort the ondemand out?

yes this is the same problem i have. my child loves the kids section on ts media and most of the media links where from you tube and now its not working, only thing i have going for me is i have the hbbtv plugin downloaded and youtube comes with that and its fully functional. its just easier to go to tsmedis thou! im using a vu duo 2 not to sure if the plugin is supported on other devices.
