Hi, in tsmedia KIDS section there are two [apps if you would like to call them] called 'kids tv' and 'kids love' and up until about a week ago there was lots of very good links from 'busy beavers you tube site' and that for toddlers, well now there not there any more, my child loves them and is always saying 'daddy i want the helicopter one' or daddy i want 5 little monkeys one! and i cant find them. anybody know how to get all the links back onto it. it was really handy and so easy to get them on and would be great to have them back

yes using openvix. yea your prob right as i have my hdd split in two partitions FAT32 and EXT4 so could be something to do with that, also i think theres a problem with my hdd. But then this has nothing to do with why often i have two tuners in use when im only using one? So its back to my ports being open. will get on to that later. thanks

ok i do have my password changed from default. I will change it again now thou. I will also change the ports as there still on default. When i turned my internet off i then restarted my box, when it booted up i got the message
"creating Hardlink to Timeshift file failed! The filesystem on your Timeshift-Device does not support hardlinks. Make sure it is formatted in EXT2 or EXT3! [Errno 17] File exists"
Is this something to do with a tuner in use?

no i didnt have it enabled for streams, i do now of course! thats interesting. now that i have my password on for streams should i be ok? wish i knew how to do whatever that person did to watch tv from my box. i reckon they got my dyndns address and used that then wrote :8001 and then the channel am i close lol

i have a password on my openwebif. I tried changing the openwebif enabled to No, its showed the two tuners still in use then 2 minutes later it went out. some dirty bas#### was watching my tv lol. trying to think who or how someone got my password, or is there another way for someone to hack in??

iv just noticed that on my vu duo 2, tuner B and C are in use. There should only be one tuner in use at this time, because theres nothing recording and im not streaming to another device. Iv checked all my devices to see if there still streaming by accident or maby the child playing around but no. I switched the box off at the back and on again, and at first just tuner B was showing as in use then a minute later tuner C showed up as in use. Any ideas whats causing this? My epg or boutiques arent updating either!

nothing seems to work, the person i bought the box of has agreed for me to send it back, so no worries and thanks a lot everyone for the help.

right ok and what will the boot log tell me, or what will i do after i get that information? sounds interesting.. another project that the wife will love...not lol

tried the bootloader followed by the openatv image with no luck. as to connecting a serial cable to check the boot log i wouldnt have a clue how to do that. when i power the box on all that happens is a red led goes on in the front panel, thats it, nothing on the tv and no message on the panel either saying boot or flsh. Nothing.

anybody any ideas on what to do now. I tried to reflash the box with vix, on the front display panel it flickered between boot/flsh for about 20 mins. i thought it wasnt doing anything so i powered the box off. now when i turn the box on nothing happens at all. have i totally bricked the box or any ideas on how to fix it?? ps i have succussfully flashed the same image onto a different box so its not a usb problem or a bad flash file. did i get a dodgy box?

hi anyone offer support for zgemma star 2s? i just got on to see what its like, it came preinstalled with openatv. I didnt change the image all i did was update auto boutiques, changed the skin, downloaded cross epg, movie browser, file browser and my tube from plugins then restarted the box from the menu and now its stuck on boot. The box doesnt do anything just sitting there with a red light on and says boot...... help much appreciated

i got the MK809III from ebay. It came from china so prob a copy but works well for all i want it for, which is pretty much the vu+ app. The remote is class, it looks just like a tv remote, it has the mouse functions on one side and the qwerty keyboard on the other, you can program it to work the tv as well which is handy. The one i got is described on ebay as '2.4G wireless mini fly air keyboard mouse touchpad laptop remote for smart tv/pc'

hi i was trying to do the same thing with my chromecast with no luck then i bought an android mini pc dongle and downloaded the vu+ player onto it and i can watch away at whatever program i want. The dongle cost me £26 and the mouse/remote £11. Its the same as a chromecast but better as it bascially turn your tv into a big android tablet. Im well impressed! ps its also good as you can download the showbox and popcorn time app and now you have a libruary full of all the latest films as well! great!

ok i want to apoligise for my ignorance! i now see where to enable dual tuner (its on the configuration page labeled 'no zap before streaming ON/OFF') and all i had to do was click ON. simple. Yes thanks very much for this app it works like a dream. I bought an android mini pc dongle and i downloaded the app onto it and i can now watch whatever channel i want in the other room, without the need for another set top box or cables, for me its brilliant!

cant find where i would enable dual tuner?? the only thing i can see close to it is in the box info option, it says i have two tuners (even though i have 3)

iv noticed that when you stream from the new app on the play store that it will only stream the current channel being watched on the box, anybody else having this same issue? iv been using the other app not available on the play store and i have no problems with it.

i have noticed that some of the movies iv downloaded wont play, funny thing is that when i went threw them, some of the movies iv already watched arent playing, they were working before and now there not. I went threw all my films and found 40 odd that now arent working. Do downloaded films delete after a certain period of time or does anyone know whats going on!

is it possible to get android or apple apps on the vu duo2? im looking at the wetek play and thinking if it can do android apps maby the vu duo2 could too??

Has anyone used one of these 'Miracast DLNA Wireless WiFi Display Receiver Dongles' to stream tv in another room, via tramsmitting the signal over wifi from their vu duo2 to the tv in the other room? would mean no wires and no other sat boxes would be needed. sounds good but does it work as it does on paper? just thought id ask here before i try it.
