I cannot for the life of me get this working. FTA channels are fine but that's it. I've tried many different mg_cfg files and different versions of mgcamd but nothing I do works.
Please help!

When you press the Blue Button have you checked that the Active Cam selected is on the MGcamd and not on the Common Interface? Also check that the newcamd.list file in the /usr/keys is correct and active.
you need to put in newcamd list in user/keys if my memory serves me .
Download MGCamd from the image feed..
Use the attached configs..
Add your CWS = line to newcamd.list..
FTP all configs to /usr/keys folder..
I'm having the same issue mate - and I've had it working well for yonks. I've tried master G's config files also, so I'm starting to think it's an Openvix issue as it's only since I updated to 4.2 that issues started happening. This seems strange to me, anyone know if this is even a possibility??
Have the exact same problem, saved working line and config from open vix 4.1, flashed to 4.2 and same files now no longer work..
Anyone find a solution to this ?
If you go back to 4.1 is it still working ?
Are you sure this line is still active ?
Have you tried any other softcams to rule out its a problem at the server end and not with your mgcamd configs ?
Thanks for the reply
Not tried to go back to 4.1, yes I'm sure the line is active and the server is running,
Grabbed a test line for CCam and that works fine (different server), am i right in thinking I should be able to convert my mgcamd line into a ccam.cfg

problem finally solved,
file permissions on the mg_cfg need to be amended to 755, must get lost in the FTP over to windows and back again,
Anyway sorted now, hopefully helps some one else
Cheers
