  • Hi

Accidentally removed e2iplayer while trying to install newer version now can’t seem to reinstall as I’ve removed it from extensions. I’m running wooshbuild on a vu+ duo2. Can anybody help me?

    Thanks.

  • hi freddy88

Am I right in thinking I install the file to tmp folder then manually input the long list of scripts via telnet? Sorry if I’m being a bit thick only ever sent the odd script via telnet!

    Thanks again.

  • Yes, copy my file with the name TS-E2iplayer-2020.05.13.02.tar.gz into the tmp orner and execute the following Telnet command in the Putty. Confirm the command with the Enter key. The device then restarts and the player is installed and available for extensions

utility wget has not been detected. what do you want to do?

    install to /usr/bin/fullwget(recomended)

    install to IPTVPlayer/bin/wget

    install to/usr/bin/wget

    do not install

do i pick option 1 (recomended)

  • just take my version that works wonderfully.

    I have open atv 6.4

you service app worth changing to 50 is not feasible.

It is either by itself or not at all.

Uninstall the service app before you use my version.

The service app is just annoying

    see link

  • i did it exactly like been described. new image openatv 6.4 vu zero 4k 20200514. installed and only your .tar.gz copy to /tm and using long script to telnet ..did it 3 times and same issue

    confirm service app is 50

    VU Zero4k ATV7.3

  • The exteplayer 3 problem is already solved if you simply uninstall the service app before using my version.

    Removes the service app

Exteplayer 3 then works without problems

    the steps are

    1.Removes the service app

    2.Install my version

  • tested on VTI 14.0.6 new flash:

    -

    my steps

    - copy TS-E2iplayer-2020.05.13.02.tar.gz to tmp/

    - instal from- telnet

    - open plugin

    - plugin did some uptdate

    - restart

    - open plugin any file ( tray 10 different file) get error : exteplayer3 not work error code 207

    any missing? its

    - go back to openatv 6.4 new flash and will let you know.

    VU Zero4k ATV7.3

  • with the exteplayer 3 is because it (i.e. in the case of Instalation) will be the right exteplayer 3 File from my File in Usr/bin hinkopiert. Aber because just the same Telnetbefehl
opkg install exteplayer3 then this File replaced by another by update from an incorrect File From Vti feed if the exteplayer 3 not more.lass also the Command opkg update away.

My exteplayerdatei is the latest version available (is the version exteplayer3 (67+gitr125+52666ca-r1)

I think it will be feed replaced with another version which is wrong

    also

    opkg update

    opkg install exteplayer3

    let go of times

    rm -rf /tmp/TS-E2iplayer-2020.05.13.02.tar.gz

    sync

    reboot

Please füre the Telnet Command as follows (with these he does not exteplayer 3 update from feed) but keeps mine.

It has to work, I also have open atv 6.4, and Exteplayer3 and everything else works fine for me.
