Which softcam do i need to use on OCTAGON SF4008 UHD 4K ?

Hi.... I got octagon 4k, CAN SOMEONE wich emu I need to use for that box??? and where I can find it?

The above oscam is not oscam-emu. Try NCam instead..

tried with different softcam always this message on log:

Make sure the dvbapi [account] has the group for all readers (example: group = 1,2,3,4,5,6).

I am an SF4008 owner with image OpenATV 6.0. Can someone show me the steps to manually install the latest Oscam available? On Streamboardtv there are only "tar.gz" file, but the decoder only recognizes .ipk files. Can you explain the step by step procedure? I searched in the forum but had no luck...

Use the attached version.

FTP to /tmp folder > blue button > plugins > ipk installer > 3 memory /tmp > follow on sreen instructions.

For Open8eight:

Install atv oscam. For run and stop oscam You must insert to /etc/init.d two script file:
1. softcam.None --> chmod755, keep empty (for softcam stop)
2. softcam.oscam --> chmod755, (for softcam start/restart) content example:

Now to run oscam press Blue / Cam Setup / Select Softcam <> / Restart softcam / OK.

If You want to install oscam from feed via box menu, first install softcamfeed:

softcam-feed-arm-ahf_1.1_armv7ahf-vfp-neon.ipk

After softcamfeed install You find softcams for download and install in Menu / Plugins / Download plugins (Green).

After softcam install You find in:

/usr/bin/oscam_atv --> oscam bin file --> chmod755

/usr/keys/oscam_atv --> directory for your oscam config files --> chmod644

/etc/oscam_atv.emu --> running script for oscam ATV image - this file will be ignored

Now it is necessary to /etc/init.d insert two text files mentioned above.

Its an openpli based image. So use softcams built for openpli.

Hi guys! Any idea how to run oscam and CI+ card together on Openeight 6
or Openatv 6.0? Oscam and CI+ works fine seperately, but not together.
(i know that work together on Egami 7.2.16, but not on Egami 8.0) Thanx!
