i have a dm500 in my bedroom if i watch it on *** sports then turn it to bbc1 when i go to sleep when i wake up its on tcm really weird
any ideas why it would do this thanks

If you want it to always start on BBC1 then reboot the dm500 on that channel, so it stays saved in the memory.

press bouquets button & highlight the channel you want like BBC1, then press menu & chose startup service from the list.

in your image there is a setting for the channel to come onto i,m not sure were it is but i know pli jade will start on *** sports 2

Nothing to do with with what channel it is on when the 500 is powered off then on later, it's switching to TCM while box is on and he's asleep.
Get an exorcism done on the box mate, or ask the missus to stop switching to TCM and messing with your head while your asleep :)
Maybe a reflash will sort it.

in dm500+s with GEMINI 4.70-> bouquets-BBC1->MENU->set as startup service
so even if you dont use Gemini , there should be something similar so worth a try :)

if that dont work check your timer list in case someone accidently set a timer to switch to tcm
