Hello, a friend has brought me a dm900 that can not do anything with dcc because it does not have ip, I do not understand much of this decoder but looking and could connect by putty can flash by putty, if you can someone can guide me where I can Get some tutorial or commands to do it thank you very much.

Copy and paste each line into telnet / putty, pressing enter button after each.
This will put the receiver into flash / recovery mode.
Now go to a browser and enter the ip address of the receiver (this will be shown on the tv screen).
Flash the new image of choice from the web-interface.

dm900@recovery.dreambox.de - no function. i have problem - can't enter in inside DM900 rescue mode, can't flash new image... telnet and putty don't want carry out commands... Dreambox ! - show on DM900 screen , but no function red switch...exuse me - not blinking switch.
Normal blinking - blue, then begin problem ( begin of died dm) blinked red color on switch, now without blinking only on screnn - dreambox...

after this telnet few can do commands..
Power off receiver via the rocker swith on the rear panel.
Power on receiver, within 0.5 of a second you must press and hold the power button on the front panel.
You will see a sequence of colours blinking on the power button. Blue, purple then red, then a constant blinking blue.
Release the power button when it starts to blink blue.
If you don`t see a sequence of colours blinking on the power button you have pressed it too quickly.
Power on the receiver, with the same hand hold the power button on the front panel.
i know about it i do with one hand- turn on after i pressed 1 sec and see blinking blue color but ip i can't see on screen DM900 and on TV screen black.

I do'nt know command from USB to flash in DM900 rescue mode and image...
I worked with Opeantv 5.3, after did my Openatv 6.0.. but once i turn on Kodidrect and finish my dm - i don't know reflash new image... :cursing:
On the same line DM525 works without problems
Does it go blue, purple then red, then a constant blinking blue ? Or just blinking blue ?
If just blinking blue you have pressed the power button too fast.
If you don`t see the message on screen its not in rescue mode.

when turn on - first light red in backround, quiqly begin constant blinking blue and in fine stay as first light red in backround. I did slowly but...nothing to change...

I had the same frustration and it was because i was pressing the power button too fast.
Switch on, now with the same hand press and hold the power button.
Can you get a telnet connection to the box ?
Look in the router to see ifthe dm900 is connected and has an ip address. If it does we can use telnet to put the box into rescue mode..
yes i did many time with one hand not quiqly first how begin blinking blue color in fine blue color - and 'dreambox !'
