KodiLite Discussion (addon errors, new addon requests etc.)

What is needed to adapt an addon to make it work in kodilite? there are alot of addons missing that were working in kodidirect :too_sad:

Copy addon folder from /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/KodiDirect/plugins/ to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/KodiLite/plugins/ and try.

At the top of default.py a few lines of code have to be added. You will see this section in each addon I have uploaded here.
That is enough for many Kodi addons. However most others will need some investigation and fixing.

If you - or anybody with some python coding experience - want to do these changes - I will be very pleased to help. I can also upload here the KodiDirect addons and the fix codes - provided you promise to upload here any adapted addon for others to use.

If you have programming experience in other languages - python is easy to pick up from the internet guides. There are also guides for complete beginners. But in both cases it will take time to learn how to debug a problem addon.[

this xstream version is the very old Version 2.3.0

It is possible to Update Xstream Version to 3.3.0 last updategit and Exodus Addon to 3.0.5?

Exodus 3.0.5 on VU Zero did not start and files attached :)
