when i go to ftp ipk file i get similar message.
i have try what was suggested in the image posted without any success,,(telnet commands).
anyone any ideas...

This message say, that a problem to download this plugin from the feed, maybe it's not on the feed or the feed has a problem.
(plugin has a entry in the packages.gz, but the plugin itself is not on the feed).
Otherwise execute "opkg update" from telnet and try the install again.
Or you install the ipk's manually.

tks E 1969.

I had Mediaportal 9.1.2 installed and thought that the above link must be an update that is not showing online. So I installed it but it doesn`t work properly. It doesn`t show any version number and even though the Porn links are enabled they don`t show. Also you cannot save any settings you change.
bo.

I couldn't install it on SH4 receiver. I have AMico Alien SH4 // stp 7111 . Pkteam 5.5 image. I tried to install the least version on the device but I got error message. The message says the receiver couldn't install the plug in due to the following

MediaPortal missing some Depends, it's list on the end of the message:
Code''* python-netclient * python-six * python-pprint * python- mail * python-json * python-pyopenssl * python-xml * python-html * python-pycrypto * python-misc * python-numbers * python-textutil * python-twisted-core * python-twisted-web * python-compression * python-robotparser * python-mechanize * python-imaging * python- requests (>= 2.0.0) *''
it must be on the feed of pkteam-image, if not, you must search it on the net.
I think pkteam-image 5.5 it's to old, it's from begin 2017 or older, mediaportal want a newer image.
The depends and libs of 5.5 are to old.

yes mr. Enigma 1969> Pkteam stopped supporting our sh4 receiver. The last image they released was at the end of 2016. The admin said they will not do any version than 5,5 so we are stuck with this old version. I tried many images ( openpli5 taapat - HDMI - atv 6_ pkteam. They are all fine but kind of old. HDMI had problem and crashes. Do you suggest any image that is new and support or Sh4 receiver st 7111 >>> it would be great to try up to date image... Thanks a lot for your help and support. I learned a lot from you. -
The last years, i use no Spark-Box, and the days with Spark it was numbereds,
but i think OpenATV 6.1 will do it well.

Thank you so much for your kind reply. I appreciate it really. I have learned a lot for this forum and especially from you. I help a lot of people who don't know English well to understand enigma2. Thanks again
Yes/ open ATV 6.1 is a great one really and it supports spark box. The only problem I have is that. The image is only for inner flash not or a USB. The flash of our spark box is only 116 Mb. so it is easily gets full and the receiver starts to freeze and crash. SO most of us in Egypt usually use external usb to install many images on it to have plenty of space to install plug ins.
I am not expert of change an image to a Tar.GZ
The following image is up to date image but it needs to be converted to (tar.gz) compression so I can install it on external usb. I would love to learn how to do this. If you don't have time to explain it to me i would be more than grateful if you can convert it for me. It will be the first image and will help thousands of Spark boxes' owners. Thanks a lot :hello:hello

I have one question how to start "WATCH BOX" in the Media Portal when I enter the listed drama and find movies, but after pressing the remote ok does not go off simply does not start the player

Can anyone tell me please what is mediaportal greyzone and how can I see it?

One question for the media portal since Bongcams contains in itself is whether it is possible to chat and register through this link if it can explain to me how.
-
I have installed the Media Portal on the Amiko SHD8900 reseller and update the Media portal, but when I open the Remote and watch a movie or a sports show, then I can not exit the exit exit but I press "0" and then go to the list and exit from the Media Portal plugin I have to go to F1 and then I open the menu where the exit from the Media portal says, whether remotely can be set up for use in the Media portal, and so far it works what to do.
