New images bugged ?

    I have, from a few days, an OS Mini combo.
    Arrived with an OpenATV from october 2016.
    Everything worked fine but not Samba.
    For this reason I decided to install a more recent image, again from OpenATV.
    Flash went fine but the problem started later.
    Some problems, mainly in satellites tuning and wifi connection also with green screen.
    So, i decided to try other recent images, like openPLi and openVIX.
    All had the same problems described above.
    I tried also to install less recent images, from middle 2016.
    Using such images all work fine.
    Actually I'm using a openPLi from august 2016.
    All this lead me think there is something strange not allowing to my box to use recent images.
    Any idea about the reason?
    Bootloader ?
    Defective hardware ?
    Any help is appreciated.

    you may be onto something there, I bought an os mini twin sat tuner. So far the 2nd tuner will not work and it only boots up when it feels like it it seems. Have tried multiple different images. Usually takes a few attempts for it to boot. Then the 2nd tuner will not get any signal despite lnb/feed being fine.
