Plugin Zattoo Live TV beta

Das Plugin wurde für das VTI Image ab Version 9.0.3 gemacht und wurde auch nur auf diesem getestet ,Anpassungen für andere Images wird es auch erstmal nicht geben.

Hello,

Is this plugin still working? I have installed it, I added my Zattoo login details (email and password) but nothing happens. I have just a gray background on the left and at the bottom of the screen where is supposed to be the channel list.

It is via Remote.First press Menu Button on the Remote if you are in the Plugin.

The Zattoo it needs registration You only need to specify email, password and age .. without confirmation e-mail.

To enter the user data (Login) please press the MENU key and if you miss the Virtual Keyboard there, you can press the TXT key.

For me is working perfect now with the latest version 1.3 posted by enigma1969.

I think you must have an IP from Switzerland or Germany to watch the channels. The access to Zattoo is restricted to this countries only.

You need to use a VPN (virtual private network) service or a smart DNS server or proxy. You have to change the DNS address in your router or in dreambox (under network setup). Unfortunately these services are not free. I have only founded some free plugins for browsers like Chrome or Firefox which are not useful for dreambox. I am not sure if this is the reason why the plugin is not working for you, but if you check the Zattoo website you will see that they use IP geolocation to restricted the access.

Some fixes

Unzip zattoo-22.05.19 from the attachment and use ftp to copy / usr / lib / enigma2 / python / plugins / extensions and replace them there.
Extract zattoo_icon-fix.rar and copy via ftp to hdd / zattoo and replace it if necessary.
Restart box, then the new functions should work in the plugin.
