OpenPLI will not update on Vu+ Solo2

hi all, I have configured my Vu+ Solo2 box a couple of years ago with a MastaG OpenPLI image and all was working fine.

Recently I have noticed that the online update from the menu system always says there is no update available. And I also noticed that the LinuxSat add-ons fail to connect.

I'm happy to install a new version of openpli if required but I really liked the image from MastaG.

My configuration is:

Hardware: vusolo2

Image: Openpli 4

Kernel version: 3.13.5

Enigma: 2016=05-05

Gstreamer: 1.9.0 (GIT)

Last Upgrade: 2017-03-23 22:31:54

Pyton version: 2.7.3

I'd like some insight and recommendations of how to fix my openpli or consider using a different image.
