  • Hello,

    Background info:

Box: Zgemma HS (Single tuner DVB-S2)

    Image: OpenATV 6.0 (kernel 4.10.6)

USB tuner: Astrometa DVB-T/T2/C linux driver available in kernel since kernel 4.6 http://blog.palosaari.fi/2013/…-dvb-t2-usb-tv-stick.html

    I've installed enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb-rtl2832 & kernel-module-mn88472 so when I plug the tuner it's recognized, dmesg:

DVB-T is working fine (RTL2832). I'm having a problem getting the DVB-T2 to work. The MN88472 is responsible for DVB-T2/C. When I go to tuner configuration I can see the tuner listed as dvbt2 (DVB-T). How do I switch from RTL2832 to MN88472 so I can use the DVB-T2 frontend?

  • Did you have any luck with this? I just bought the same tuner from ali: https://pl.aliexpress.com/item…042311.0.0.f5555c0fOer0Yn

and I can't get it to work even in DVB-T mode on my AX HD 51 tuner with OpenATV 6.3 image, the tuner is detected with the rtl2832 plugin but no picture and sound, I also can't find any programs. My old AS-102 works fine on the same cable.

Right now I have no DVB-T2 MUX in my area, but that will change in a month or so. The tuner is cheap (about $12) and would be great as an DVB-T2 tuner in Enigma2 images.

I have the same problem with the 2018 version with Sony CXD2837 demod. The DVB-T part is not working, even if the device is correctly recognized but it cannot find channels.. It's a problem of driver.. On Windows, with the same device, it works but when I test the device with Prog Finder to see SNR and AGC, the device has not SNR percentage, only AGC control and percentage, but it finds channels. SO I think this is the problem for Enigma2 driver, absence of SNR... Anyone solved? In my country there is still DVB-T until 2023.. After that it will be necessary to change RTL2832 driver with thispatch to have the CXD2837 recognized as DVB-T2 demod, but the problem will persist even in DVB-T2 mode, if SNR problem is still there, I think...
    My kernel is 4.4.35
