Because your USB is fake. Its not a real 64 GB USB.

Its most likely a 2GB with the chip modded to say 64GB.

Take it back to where you bought it from and complain.

1. try another path + folder for the picons... for example the root folder "/picon" or the folder "/usr/enigma2/share/picon" still used on many Enigmas

- it is quite likely that your USB flash drive is corrupted or really full... check it with commands in the linux shell, such as:
df -h
fdisk -l
...and similar commands for linux shell (you can find them on the internet)

2. do not unpack all the picons from the archives, but only the necessary picons - depending on your userbouquets (this can be switched in the plugin settings) - this way you can save space on the target disk

3. the plugin will probably be canceled (development terminated)... because if Chocholousek does not appear and does not respond, and if he does not start updating his picons again, then this CholousekPicons plugin is useless / unusable

I am still looking for a way... even though I do not really want to do it... how to use another picon source... in another and new plugin. For example, using the Github source, with transparent logo icons, from Lululla for example. However, the condition should be the possibility of downloading the package for specific satellite positions (i.e. picons archived by namespace in SRC: 00EB0000, 00C00000, 00820000, 0E080000, etc.). Then I could make a plugin for updating picons that downloads all transparent logos for a specific satellite position from Github (e.g. 00EB0000 represents 23.5E). In the plugin, the user chooses from the default backgrounds or adds their own background. And then the picon conversion and updating are started.

It is still a problem when i doanload to usr/share/enigma2/ picon all vork but when i try to download to media/usb/picon it not saved in picon path they are stored in media/ usb .

And i need a lot of picons because i have 35 satellites stored and therfore usr/shere/enigma2/ picon have not space enough. And i need zzpicon and picon to my skin cobaltFHD.

Mabye i can install flasch expander but do not know how to do it.

LOL Scandisk are shite !

They make the worst USB's out there. Your so much better off using a cheap as chips USB than a Scandisk.

Anyway, the make has nothing to do with fakes. Fakers actually tend to chose the more expensive brands because people will believe theyre getting better quality. Fakes have flooded the market so much that its probably as high as a 50/50 chance of your buying one.

Try and FTP an 8GB movie over to it, I bet it fails to transfer over due to lack of space.

Unfortunately, chocholousek is still missing and none of us know where he is or what happened to him. He took care of the picons and updated them. But he hasn't been seen anywhere on the internet for a long time.

Personally, I'm just a plugin developer... however, chocholousek was always the only one who personally took care of the new icons and their design... it was his work - authorship.

If chocholousek doesn't appear for a long time... the plugin will have to be removed. A new one may be created instead... probably in collaboration with Lululla and her github-picons. But I still don't know how it could work (the download of picons in the case of the ChochousekPicons plugin often happened 1000 or more times a day).

So far... for a few months now... the chocholousek picons have not been updated. Unfortunately.

More precisely... there are poor quality picons ! Poor quality and confused work. I think, this is not Chocholousek's work !

For example, picons for 23.5E position:

WAU HD

- the logo is now cyan, instead of the original orange color (it is wrong !)

- the cyan logo is old, from year 2021 ! but now a new logo is used - with a round font type + in orange color

- the abbreviation symbol "HD" literally looks like some additional "sticker" inserted in a sloppy way into the graphics !

So... Chocholousek wrote on the Picon.cz discussion that the indexing file was probably corrupted and that the problem would be solved with a new update.
