Dm900 image flashing problem

There are 3 replies in this Thread which was already clicked 1,290 times. The last Post () by alzahrania2.

    This is the help I received off Master G when I had problem flashing.


    Copy and paste each line into telnet / putty, pressing enter button after each.




    Code
    echo "rescue" >> /proc/stb/fp/boot_mode
reboot




    This will put the receiver into flash / recovery mode.


    Now go to a browser and enter the ip address of the receiver (this will be shown on the tv screen).


    Flash the new image of choice from the web-interface.

    I found the issue that dreambox must be connected throw router..


    In my case it was connected directly from dreambox to computer throw LAN cable. Thats Why it didnt work


    So To everyone pass throw here has same of my issue


    You need to connect ur dreamBox to router then you can do whatever you want
