XCplugin-IPTV Discussion (plugin errors, new update requests etc.)

OpenATv has problems with Xcplugin :)

The procedure is simple:

If box is installed exteplayer: you can select it on XCplugin.

Otherwise you can not select it

Of course if the plugin is configured EXTEPLAYER3 even on the puzzle must be EXTEPLAYER3 otherwise it will not work.

Maybe you do not find it in SERVICEAPP plugins but in settings - I believe

Exteplayer better than gstreamer? Yes

Error:

list index out of range

serviceapp does appear in xcplugin but when i try it i get no pic etc

i have tried opkg list | grep serviceapp and can confirm it is installed

i get this below in telnet

enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-serviceapp - 0.5+git104+567bde6-r3 - enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-serviceapp version 0.5+gitAUTOINC+567bde691d-r3

serviceapp service for enigma2

but when i check settings.cfg i do not see

config.plugins.serviceapp.servicemp3.player=exteplayer3

config.plugins.serviceapp.servicemp3.replace=true

shall i enter these i guess, havnt tried yet

I also expects v 4.3. Xc 4.2 worked very well on openBlackhole 1.0 vu zero. And there it is 2 days I arrive more, reinstalled however I wait. Thank you , super plugin lulla.

As I have already explained

X the serviceapp:

Set exteplayer3 on the enigma and then on the plugin

or

Set default (gst) on the enigma and then on the plugin

Just so it can work

I can not put another check, I already put what controls the presence / installation of exteplayer.

So if it is installed it lets you select exteplayer in plugin otherwise just gstplayer

With the new version there are more things to configure

- dual player (live and vod)

- skin with wifi or not

etc

I am recently found out for your plugin so I am wondering can we use EPG from xml file?

Allot iptv providers are not updating epg at all.

Can we have live stream recording by EPG schedule and what about timeshift on live stream?

Recording live stream while watching?

Like how you probably know there is no software for E2 which can do all that.

I already have IPTV setup in bouquet's with EPG but there is allot problems if you want to record something.

That's why I am searching for alternative solution.

In E2, Expeplayer3 and internal player is not reconnecting IPTV stream when connection is unexpectedly closed, picture will stay frozen until rezap.

So if you recording something all will be useless. Lululla plugin is reconnecting, that is great.

Lululla plugin also have EPG and some recording options, he could expand EPG and recoding by adding EPG from xml file or url with EPG schedule recording. If he does that it will be best plugin for IPTV for E2 at this moment.
