i dont know of a one for BH but there is a custom made plugin written into the ViX image that does exactly this every 6 minutes made by andyblac.
hi pheonix
i'm using bh for years ago, dont know aboout vix images , i'm still looking for the help/file
thanx
not knocking the BH images as they work well for those who choose to use them, each to their own and all that. i'm just letting you know that there is currently a system working within the ViX image that does exactly what you want. and after all with backup applications and USB flashing you can be running a ViX image one minute and within 3 to 4 minutes be back to running BH or any other image you choose. you have nothing to loose by trying other images in fact you may just find that you prefer using another image be it pli, ViX, DBUK, AAF or whatever it may be.
hi
thanx again , i' will try the vix . your backup idea seems to be a good solutions.. i'm using bh just for 1 reason :" the shoutcast" plugin cause work perfect. with other images have troubels.
other ideas are welkom.
anyway thanx and have a good sunday
I use cccamcheck script on BH and it's working great. This is how it's done :
You ftp the script in /var/script and give attribute 755. Then you go in /etc/bhcron, there you find 2 files bh.cron and root.
In both you add this line :
*/5 * * * * /var/script/./ccheck.sh
The script is named ccheck.sh and it looks like this :
#!/bin/sh
if ps x |grep -v grep |grep -c CCcam >/dev/null
then
echo "cccam... ok"
else
echo "cccam... restarting"
/usr/bin/CCcam_213 &
fi
As you can see it is for CCcam 2.1.3, if you have a different version modify accordingly. Please reply with feedback.

FTP to /usr/bin and check how the CCcam binary is named. The guide has CCcam named CCcam_213, yours may be different. Change the script accordingly.
Thanks MasterG I have checked and mine is : CCcam_2.3.0
I have put it like that in script but still won't restart cam.

Did you wait 5 minutes for the script to restart CCcam ? You can reduce the waiting time to 1 minute if you want:
yes I changed it to 1, still waiting.

Hi Guys, still can't get the auto restart to work.
I have looked closely and can't see any mistakes.
In script I have entered cam like this: CCcam_2.3.0
Do I need to use underscore?
Cheers.
Try this CCcam check BH
Thanks,
Do I have to delete the other scripts I made first with ftp?

You should, or just force the ipk from post #2 in telnet:
