Yes, with a Vu+ solo 4k the HDD caddy is for a 2.5 drive......

I have got HDD attached to Solo 4k, it never worked with my box, I posted many times for help but I could not get any proper help on this forum :(

if there is only 1MB free,it is impossible to work...
so put this disk in a pc,check its partitions using an appropriate program (such as minitool) and than,after fixing its partitions,put it again in your receiver to see if it works...

I managed to format it around 6 months ago. I recorded only one cricket game. My HDD never worked after that, it does NOT show/play any of files.
Unfortunately I dont have any PC set up but I do have laptop which I use occasionally. I will appreciate your help mate....

Thank you very much for you reply. I have done the job but I think there are some Software issue, as I have to mount it manually and even something I cant detect my HDD.
at the moment, its working like a charm...
Capacity: 921.8 GB free / 931.5 GB ("1 TB") total (/media/sda1) is there any possibility, if I can include this HDD in my Plex HDD network connected with my Nvidia Shield TV box?

if u are using the atv image u can reflash the box u will not lose ur setings on ur hard drive if that's what u mean

when u reflash the wizard will ask u if u want to keep ur original setings just say yes bud and follow the instructions and the box will rebot regards

I dont want to keep, Oscam files, AutoBouquetsMaker, tuner config, Cable settings, etc
I have NOT flashed my box for last one year and I actually lost my capabilities to do it. I will love to flash it with a different or any better image (Black hole, VTI or anything better), if someone help me with all the setting.
I chose this image last time due to nice graphically skin of Master G.
