Im happy with mine, but it dose have some issue's:

Lack of PIP function (hopefully the drivers can be updated for this feature)

The stupid Airdigital logo on the boxes front display dose not dim or turn off in standby

Price ?? there are other boxes right in the same price range, the mutant hd51 for one....

That said, it is good on weak signals, better than other boxes i have used anyways....

There is still very little 4k content out there, so right now there is not really any need for a 4k box IMHO

My next 4k box must have FBC tuners, hdmi input and 4 tuner slots, those functions would be more useful to me than 4k.

Perhaps santa will treat me to one lol, otherwise im in no rush to splash out on one

There are 2 versions of it, there is one with 2 cable tuners and 1 sat, and the other version, with 2 sat tuners and one cable tuner.

So depending on what version you get, and how many feeds (sat cable's) per sat you have will determine the answer to your question.

i will say a couple of things about the zgemma 4k vs the mutant hd51....

The zgemma has 3 tuners and multistream tuners ..VS.. the mutant having a max of 2 tuners and no multistream.

Simply put some satellite providers transmit in dvbs2x ....the multistream format. So with a dvbs2x tuner you can receive them...... Google is your friend

as said above, i dont see the point of a VU plus //- Zgemma comparison.... The zgemma range on the whole is far far cheaper, and has official support from most of the build teams, not everyone needs all the features a £500 box has to offer, bang for buck you cant go wrong with a zgemma IMHO.

zgemma look at the older boxes no image support for the older ones already (most are fake/copy images)

gigablue vix stop supporting the images on them as soom as someone else starts selling them cheaper!!

vu+ boxes are the only boxes that the image programers use for a reason there the best!

all other boxes are a sideline that the image programers get a little cash for on the side (or a few free boxes)

vu+ are a million miles better than anything else
