Where did you download that image ? You should always download images from the original forum.
-
Hi GeorgeXL, it wouldnt download from here so i got it on another forum, was that wrong?
-
I am afraid you downloaded a backup image not a original BH image and it's not working.
Download from here : http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…imo-1-7-2-media-tree.html -
George when i click on the file to download i get a white screen, thats why i went to another forum. I know i shouldn't have done that.:(
Any idea why i'm getting a white screen? Thanks for comming back to me. -
The attachment is now fixed buddy :linuxsat5:

Hi Master G, the file isn't there now or am i missing something.
-
is it for ultimo?
-
Yes Tosh for the Ultimo.
-
-
Got it downloaded but cant get it installed on the box, when i switch on the box at the back it
just fires up as normal doesn't read the stick. -
One thing to remember when flashing a image onto the Ultimo, you have to hold the - button on the front of the box for it to start reading from the USB drive.
-
Thanks for your replies but i have reformatted and tried to load countless times without success.
When i loaded the wrong image today the stick was formatted Fat not Fat32 it was the only way
that worked although i have tried formatting both ways so what is the correct format to use, i
think its Fat32.
-
Your right toothfairy, the usb stick should be formatted to FAT 32 ,then copy the "vuplus" folder containing the image onto the flash drive.are you using the front usb socket to flash the image on?
-
Yes using the front usb to flash, i will have another go
-
Had another go without success, thats it for tonight.
