  • hello,

    i am running vix 2.3 build 204.
am a s*y subscriber with my own card.
i would like step by step help in setting up both cccam and oscam as ive tried the guides with no success, so im clearly doing something wrong.

i think we could do it just through msn but im happy to utilise teamviewer as well (though i duno how that'd work to get that set up!)

ive donated 15 quid and have paid specifically for this 'help' feature. would really really appreciate the help and hopefully can settle down to watch some tv!

in the process it'd be good to know what it all means as well, so id be asking questions etc.

    many thanks.

SPECIFics about the problem - can't clear some channels in my subscription, like f1 or MTV HD channels. can't seem to install the combined cccam/oscam ipk for it to appear in softcam manager to enable.
ran vix 2.1 with cccam 2.2.1 for absolutely ages with no issues, until i rescanned for the new f1 channel. all i got was a black screen when i selected it, it just wouldnt clear.

then i installed an oscam ipk, can't remember what version, and it worked. all channels cleared. but after 24 or so hours, the subscription channels would go black again, and i'd have to manually restart it basically every 2 days.....

    so....please help!

  • First we will try to solve it here, i see you have a thread open so presume you are no further on with this. Please post your full configs here so we can rule out any possible errors.

    how do i post them?
at the moment im just running cccam 2.1.3 only, with 2 lines in the .cfg file, the boxkey and the 3570000 voltage line thing...

when i tried following that oscam/cccam configs for s*y, the configs were as per that thread: http://linuxsat-support.com/os…am2-1-3-s%2Ay-uk-ipk.html

so first thing i did was take that E2 enigma ipk file, and install via Vix install manager. my first problem here is that the softcam manager doesnt see it....
i then copied and pasted the config files into the correct areas, /etc, /usr, via an FTP client (flashfxp). Didn't make any difference.

this was with a clean install of Vix, factory reset, and hard drive initialization.

  • Ok can i ask you to delete your current cam & configs reboot and try using this ipk, the configs are included for your card.
Ftp the file to the /tmp them blue button install ipk from vix menu.

ok, did a clean install of vix 2.3 build 204.
scanned channels, setup through wizard etc....

installed as per your instructions, did nothing else.
    the f1 channel still won't clear.... :(

just to 100% double check, i dusted off my official box, stuck card in, and all channels were working perfectly, including the f1....

    i think its teamviewer time...
