ok guys has ABM configs been updated, installed a new image (HDMU) and ABM, updated configs on abm and all sound works, nothing to do, but cant stream with remote channel stream convertor, in fact echanneliser shows all services NA
which image is this?
not working on openvix I have tried everything
HDMU, but i think any new image, not a back up, there loads having different results, some work some dont, also ABM config update keeps being updated,so who knows what will happen in a few days
tried latest Open ATV with ABM 2.8 with updated config and now no HD channel works video or audio lol .
I think I will try HDMU as posted before
OK Guys after all day I can confirm OSCAM working and all clearing fine.
So. Is this a cam thing.... i noticed last week that Ch4 hd, no sound, NAR is now on ITV HD, but setting say Not.. Fox HD, no sound and no Audio channel. Just a few I've noticed..

Right here's the latest. You need to use oscam.latest softcam.
Switch your lines to oscam from mgcamd.
My receiver didn't require anything further and the Audio went back to normal and channels cleared properly.
Some users with different receivers have reported that they needed to run the script or update abm config if on vix image

To run the script for vox image do exactly as follows:
1) Blue button > ViX > Script Runner > Press Exit once. This will create the folder usr/scripts on your receiver.
2) FTP the the script to usr/scripts.
3) Open Script runner > Press OK to select the script > Press Green to run the script.
4) Script will run and restart the GUI.
There is no need to use both methods 1 will do
Had no pic or audio on some channels Inc ch4 HD after ABM file update / scan ,
was on mgcamd 138, switched to oscam.latest as suggested now all back?

this on a fresh image or have you messed with it before hand, ie has you lamdb been altered before you installed oscam??
reson im asking is if you updated your abm and ran it lamedb has been changed,
Hi, iv installed the oscam latest from the feeds, used the tool to convert mgcamd to oscam and ftp it to ect/tuxbox/config but when i try to activate oscam it says the file needs setting up or something like that, can anyone tell me where im going wrong please, thanks.
u need oscam.conf file setting up so you can access the webgui , or you can set the backend files up manually
i think in your tuxbox folder is a configuration folder for oscam

I'm not sure of the file location on Vix but you need this file Oscam.conf to be placed in the Oscam configuration folder. Then restart Oscam. You can now access oscam by http and going to http://box.ip.address:8888 . Add lines in Readers under group 1 2 or 3 and make sure your dvbapi user has group 1,2,3 set .

This is just a template but to Explain for those using the WebGui .
The Info in the Oscam.Server file is what you would input if adding a source ( sealion / newsealion ) . This is done by clicking Readers at the top of the Oscam Page .
The Oscam.user file is used to create users and to push the correct info the the Box ( DVBapi ) . You must have DVBapi user set in Oscam in order to Unencrypt and view channels on the box. This is done by clicking Users at the top of the page.
The Oscam.conf is a file that must be in the Oscam Configuration Directory in Order for it to start.This can be configured further from the Web interface by Going to Files at the top and then Oscam.conf .
iv sorted it, the mgcamd to oscam did it all wrong, it put the server name where my user name should have been, all sorted now, im back to sound on ss main event, but nat geo wild hd has no audio at all.
No HD channels clear on my H.2H... using latest openatv v6.1 and updated ABM ??

I can view all video on all HD channels , main event hd audio i cant get working though . we have all changed to oscam and its now working, have you deleted bouqets , updated config files, rebooted box then done a abm scan, if you have, go on oscam as it fixes it. we all run openvix tho, imo the best
Its just this one channel I cant get my head round it , I can't run Vix as it isnt supported but the script that is available in the patch is just a bunch of Sed commands to edit the lamedb file , I have done that . Ive always ran oscam so always had most channels working . i commented earlier based on a version that had gone off so ignore some of my earlier posts. I have latest ymod and latest atv oscam installed . Have deleted all channels from FTP . Dont have ABM maker running and run a blind scan . Then in ABM update config files to 2.8 and then ABM runs and should bring it back . But it doesnt . I dont want to use VIX as VIX isnt supported anymore so maybe ill keep going with this and figure out what is making it lose audio .
Interesting point though is my virgin setting before for provider was just Virgin UK , Now the Virgin UK All doesnt scn it just hangs ad scans very few channels very slowly , changed to uk ex cw and now is scanning fast and getting the expected channels.
Running ABM makes things worse . Any chance someone could post me there working lamedb file with main event hd working please I would really appreciate it
when you say you cant run vix. are you running a zgemma h5.2tc of so run the standard h5 vix image. it works perfect. how you mean vix isnt supported anymore. all i know is im on vix and as soon as i went from mgcamd to oscam i have sound on ss main event. and other chanels seem to be fine. iv tried other images and honestly dont know why everyone isnt on vix. but thats my opinion. good luck.

I use the box for streaming as wela nd the addon market for vix isnt supported as of earlier this year .
