Some people have had some luck just pressing random buttons on your remote when this happens. Turn it on and off and the back and just press some buttons.
Other things to try...
Turn it of at the mains for a while.
Try re-flashing with a clean image first, before installing a backup build.
http://images.mynonpublic.com/…/index.php?open=zgemmah2safter that you will probably have to try a bootloader. (which can brick your box completely if you mess that up)

thanks kiddac , ive just tried flashing again but nothing , someone said my sandisk needs formatting but its already fat 32 when i got it, i dont know if i dare do the bootloader ,i have no instructions and seem to have done the same thing to my mutant hd51, that wont boot either after i tried to install the software updates

reformat the usb key wont do it any harm then grab an image for the H2 from this link below

put in back usb power on box and press power button on front of box once and it should start flashing box wait till everything is finished then should be ok..

if you have done it to 2 boxes, I would get yourself a genuine descent usb stick. Sounds like its a dodgy fake usb to me. Which might be why the flash is completely failing

i did it first with a kingstone 1gb then a 32gb one then a sandisk 16gb and non have done anything , im lost

Well if they are genuine sticks and not fleebay snides. you can always try cleaning your usb ports with a cotton bud. Some of these boxes are known for dodgy usb ports. Personally never had a problem with usbs myself though.
Are you not even getting the FLSH or USB message on the front of your box.

i will give thata go, no not gettting anything but boot and red light
