  • Hello

    Am I going mad?

I recently moved to BT ISP from virgin

Now my lines do not work

They worked for a couple of weeks and now dont

I of course blamed the provider but a check seems to confirm line are live

Does anyone know if Bt are blocking Cs lines or is this just crazy

    thanks;(

  • check port forwarding new router will need ports reset up also turn on DMZ as last option to see if it works then find whats stopping it ;) as dmz will let all ports threw but this is not needed for internal network to work only external

  • I’d also recommend setting a static IP Address on your Satellite receiver.

I’ve had network related problems before that turned out to be caused by the Satellite receiver receiving an IP Address via DHCP. As soon as I manually assigned a static IP Address, all the problems went away
