Has anyone opened up a support ticket on oscam regarding the issue with tiers not being read properly?
Its not a site a frequent tbh because i dont have to but its worth opening one i think.
There is also other issues i can see on these caids at present with what i believe to be high ecm times causing blackness on certain channels still operating atm but i have not seen any logs or info on the matter from peeps who own these cards so far.

OK what it appears to be is that the entitlements list is correct except the YEAR.
My card is working again but showing entitlements to 2006 as shown above. It may be that either 2018 is now read by oscam but it is still working - not that you would know it looking at the entitlements list. To get this go to Readers then the green "i" button to show entitlements. Ignore the year field but if the date changes to something later than February, it is still updating but the interface thinks it is showing 2006 instead of 2018. Very odd (reposted on other thread just in case anyone missed this posting in the other thread I started.

Its only odd that you cant pick up on what has already been posted, many times !

Hi,
Been using white card in VU+ Duo using Oscam for years.
My white card stopped working (even in sky box) so I contacted them and they sent me a new red card.
I pit this into Duo and now can't access any services.
Do I need to change any settings in Oscam server or should it still read card.
As it is, on webif I get ERROR (no entitlements) but works in sky box.
Thanks in advance.

Change caid = 0963 to caid 0960
ident = 0963:000000 to 0960:000000
Convert the serial number of the official sky HD box to hex and add boxkey to the reader in oscam.server boxid = 12345678

Hi Master G,
Thanks for quick reply.
I've changed settings as advised but still not working.
In Oscam webif I now get status: NEEDINIT (no entitlements)
I've tried restarting cam and system.

Post up your configs and an oscam log from startup and after viewing some channels.

Your whitelist starts 0963: and not 0960:
Maye that is it as if you are using a red card it will be 0960 not 0963. You have chagned one of them but not your whitelist - although oscam should work normally without a whitelist. Can't be certain if that will work for you but please give it a try.
-
I'll try that when I get home from work.
What does the whitelist do?
-
I think but I cannot be sure that the whitelist is the opposite to a blacklist. A blacklist will stop a service from being opened if it can be, but a whitelist is a list as far as I can remember you can add to to definitely include, providing it works.
If there is no white list, it should do the lot that it can open.
Correct me if I am wrong but I think that is right.
-
Your cardmhz may be the issue, try changing to 357

Got it working but now it has stopped.
Oscam webif says CARDOK (no entitlements).
When I put card in original sky box everything clears so card is updated but when in Duo, nothing.
Any ideas?
I haven't changed anything.
Should I delete the Oscam.ccache, Oscam.provid and Oscam.srvid2?
What are these fies and are they needed.
-
Mine has stopped also
Same configs - All i get is rejected - all caid correct - are red cards now gone?
-
No,still works fine...
-
Update: My card got unpaired to box.......
-
mine has also stopped working, no entitlements. Red card. been using the config off here for a year or more... now its stopped.

i'm having the exact same issue - did you fix it?
-
Have you tried it in official receiver lately? It may need to be re-paired again.
That happened to me also, but with 0963 card.
