New Red 0960 Card, No entitlements

Hi all,

I have a small issue.

I have been using a White 0963 card for many years and everything has been OK.

A couple of weeks ago Sly cancelled this for no reason. Anyway since then I have managed to get a Red Card 0960.

I have had this card in a HD box and it works fine. Full packages including all the HD channels etc. Straight after put the card in my Oscam reader and after changing all the configs from 0963 to 0960 the card is showing CARDOK but all the entitlements have expired in 2006 but yet the card works OK in the genuine box. Any ideas?

Have you added the boxkey / boxid ?

Yes mate. Done all that.

If i remove the key the status just says ERROR but with it entered it says CARDOK.

I have just put it back in the main receiver and straight away channels clear.

Pulling my hair out with it lol.

Surely the entitlements are up to date if it works in the main box but yet in Oscam it says this,

NB: Another thing I noticed is the Start date is 2008 but yet the expiry date is 2006?

Is this an omnikey ? If so the device value is wrong in oscam.server.

You don`t need [dvbapi] in oscam.conf. Or mhz or cardmhz vallues in oscam.server.

Yes mate it's an omnikey reader.

The dvbapi user wasn't enabled anyway.

I have the AU set in that box1 user to pass the updates.

My white card updated last night and now shows no entitlements, although it does still clear channels.

Funny thing is that expiry date is now 2 years before start date (which is 2008)

Nothing has changed config wise and was running untouched for a long period.

I think something is being changed or a bad update (although never seen this before though)

That's what I have as well although mine are way out.

Start date is 2008, Expiry date is 2006 lol.

Go to the oscam webinterface

Click Readers tab then Scan USB

You will get an output like this:

device in oscam.server should be device = 0 instead of Bus 003 Device 002

If you get iSerial 1 or 2 and so on, change the device value to 1, or 2.

To be honest when I had my white card in the reader it's always been set as 0.

I changed that yesterday when I was messing with settings and stuff.

I have changed it back now.

Still don't understand how the card is working in an original box yet showing all entitlements as expired.

My 0963 white card has entitlements until 2018-01-08.

Well I'm guessing all my configs are OK apart from the device bit which I have swapped back.

I guess I can only wait a few days to see if any updates come down but I'm not holding my breath.

It's very unusual while yours is clearing still. Does it still show you have entitlements as well even though they have expired?
