I can't set a resolution higher than 640x360... how is that possible??? I have 1920x1080 or 1280x720 in the settings and it still only plays 640x360...
The issue is related to YouTube API restrictions on shared API keys. Google allocates a free daily quota of 10,000 units per API project, which affects unofficial applications like the YouTube plugin on Enigma2. When the quota is consumed, features such as video quality are limited to 360p. The solution is to create a private API key via Google Cloud Console and use it instead of the shared API key to restore higher video quality.
