how to install oscam emu binary file not ipk or deb

Assuming you already have oscam installed on the image (use an old ipk).

Download and extract the attachment. Inside will be the new oscam binary.

FTP to /usr/bin on the receiver (may be usr/bin/cam on some images).

Look for the old existing oscam binary. Rename this oscam to oscam1

Send the new oscam binary to the same location as the old version.

Change attributes/permissions on new oscam to 755.

Reboot receiver.

If oscam doesn`t work delete new version, rename old version back to oscam. Reboot receiver.

A script may also need to be edited to show the new version number in the image menu.
