Hello guys. How do I setup openvpn on the enigma2 box I’m stuck I googled it and haven’t got no success.
On openATV image install package openvpn from feed.
1.Make yourself the folder in /etc named openvpn. you 'll see as
/etc/openvpn
2.Request the vpn' provider about config. For openvpn it will see as New_IP_Config.ovpn.
3.Place this file with config in /etc/openvpn .
4.Turn on openvpn through menu-network-openvpn-run
4.Check the IP through telnet by
wget -O - -q icanhazip.com
You will see the new IP of yours receiver.

You've asked about this before, you need to rename the .ovpn file to .conf and add auth.txt line to it and add an auth.txt file with your username and password. Some require key files too so what vpn are you using?
Have a look here OpenVPN Setup guide for most VPN,s and Beta script another that post is a script for: Nord, digibit, pure vpn and ip vanish.
If using another let me know and I'll have a look.

Yh I know I asked before but I couldn’t get around it. It’s a different vpn it’s not any of them the ones you’ve mentioned. Shall I send you the details over so u can have a quick look ? M8

Just rename .ovpn config file from provider to .conf and place it in /etc/openvpn/ folder. Then try to run the openvpn.
If you vpn is supplied with authentication the text file with account and password also need to be placed in /etc/openvpn.
Also in file with config need to be placed text string
auth-user-pass /etc/openvpn/pass.txt where pass.txt is a text file with account and password.

Ok I changed the name of the ovpn file to .conf and FTP in etc/openvpn folder I tried running openvpn by going to box menu and it didn’t run. When I opened up the file first ovpn one it had Client on top then ‘Begin cert End’ <\ca><cert> Then <keys> Then bit openvpn static key V1 begin and end.

You can if you want but it'll probably be easier to say what VPN you're using as I may not see the pm till later and others maybe able to help.
