problems in open ports in bt broadband

    i have server for many years and i use port 12***
    i change provider to bt broadband but i dont have succes to open port
    i try with bt home hub 3,netgear,dlink 2640r with any results
    in netgear and dlink working before
    i need some help please

    I don't have a BT Broadband box but recently set one up for someone here...


    To give you something before an expert comes along, in the router settings, go to advanced settings and you can add a custom port to a service (giving it a name) and then assign the service to your server...I can't remember the exact steps to get to each area so have a mess around and hopefully someone can give you a more definitive answer!
