EMM's are card updates and you should really disable them in your config.
The ECM's mean you have had a request for an ECM but couldn't fulfill it. This could be down to a card owner not using SID assign or SID ignore.
Where the ECM's in your local?
yea in a local card thats trying to update. if i disable emm won't that stop it updating?
Someone else will have to answer that one, but i think disabling will just stop EMM's coming from your clients/servers and you should still get your own EMM's from the broadcast.
If the ECM's where on your local, do you have a card that's not a full sub?
ok thanks! i was just messing with a funcard trying to get my head round the card reader. cheers dd
In which case, the 1 ECM could be a card update received by the card reader from the broadcast, and the failed ECM's because the card can't open the channel that it's saying it can.
