    NEW info : perhaps same problem as MagicRemote not Working...

    I try to test by putty access to control some variale as Nepose as explaine in other post...

    i open putty on my windows computer ( i was before using it with success on transitional firmware)

    i got access on the mag322 ip (vérified)

    at the question loggin as: root > password *

    it was not possible keying the 930920 password from the pc keyboard : it look as if the variable on the mag side was not correctly defined

    everyone can give some test?

    Yes, their direction is still "legal policy" and their management probably don't mind that their block was already broken

    I downloaded the image for my mag322.

    Image for MAG 322, MAG 324, Aura HD Pro

    after installation USB in the boot menu

    only that comes

    after the "noBlock" image it looks the same :-(

    until I took the update from your site, everything went wonderful ... I mean I had previously recorded 2.19.01-transitional: /

    i was with my 322 on the 2.19.01-transitional and the rc2 was refused not compatible but with the last image from Nepose 2.20.00 no problem to load

    from usb no problem to access my provider

    only some incompatibility (waiting new images to correct) with "soft magicremote " and no more access by putty

    you can eventualy reload 2.19.01transitional

    Me when I see this kind of message for me either your subscription is over or your provider has blocked you!

    I'd be surprised if you get a message because of the last nepose image, knowing I did it and I have no problem with it.

    Do you know when your subscription ends or not ?

    The screens you show have nothing to do with noblock patch.


    It's just your provider that refuses your box to connect.


    So you should inform your provider to allow the xyz firmwares or else just spoof a recent orginal mag version. Nepose allready explained in this topic how to spoof it.

    Neopose, are you still running with this, as I first saw your software links disappear and now the full site is not accessible anymore?

    I am struggling with an operator lock on a MAG256. Have tried everything USB, HTTP, SSH, and Multicast but nothing works. I have now turned to serial connectivity but only getting garbage on screen when I start the box (assuming connection is working) so unable to identify the command line as described by Neopose. Connecting with :

    Speed 115200

    8 bits

    1 stopbit

    N8o parity

    No flow control


    Anybody has any recommendations on what to do next?

    I could really need a custom firmware. I had a long term subscription so I havent had to change portal for a while. But now Im missing the portal settings on my MAG256w2. Is there anyone who have any custom firmware for this MAG256? I have tried many links in this forum but they are all dead.


    Is there anyone who can help with this? Please!! :)
