    I cannot remember which vu+ you said you have, but I recommend downloading openblack hole for it.

    Setting up multi boot. Then you can experiment with all the different builds.

    It's dead simple to do.

    On my vu+ zero 4k, I have openbh. openatv, openvix and pure2 installed on it.

    I switch between them all for testing purposes.


    Openatv is perfectly fine nowadays on VUs

    Drivers are down to Vu/Marusys and there is no consensus on their "quality", that much is certain... If anything, developers are not writing about them in superlatives...

    OK, which one exactly did you install?


    The compatible one is in PurE2 feeds: MENU > Plugins > green button > Extensions > Stalker-qt... Installs fine. I have no idea if it works generally speaking, I started it and it didn't reboot E2 - however since I do not have those services I can't say more... So, you tell me...


    OpenWebIF freezes the box solid.


    FNC PurE2 plugins:


    OLM works,

    Iwaatch probably works,

    YIFY can not install,

    Streamlord works.


    Very limited box (RAM and ROM). You better mount a fast USB stick, have a large SWAP file using Swap Manager 2 from System plugins and do not overload it... It freezes after a while, hence read my tutorial re. expansion of ROM and RAM...

    YES, the correct version of Stalker IS present in PurE2 feeds and it installs well. But why would you listen to me...


    If your version of Staker isn't working then you should have told me which one you installed, as I asked you - but you did not answer, so...

    For the umpteenth time: I installed Stalker from JD PurE2 feed (they are not the same for all boxes, the bin files differ!) and it installed well! Now, if you are going to invent hot water - be my guest but then leave me out of it...


    Why is there a problem in changing MAC address in Network settings? Write down the original one, just in case you wanna go back to it, then change it the way you want - what's the problem? What are you playing at here? Errors you mention have nothing to do with that! But if you are cloning a MAC address and your provider found it out - it has nothing to do with our SW...


    If you are going to be stubborn and NOT listen to advice given after you ask for advice - then please, don't write here again with your problems and waste my time, energy and good will...

    Are you using the the pure2 version of the stalker plugin, downloaded with your remote control from the plugin feed ? YES / NO ??

    Backup your current image and your current mac address, then try and change it and see if it works or not

    He isn't, Jens. He took it from another box, inventing hot water, forcing the issue needlessly, even though I already told him that compatible version is in JD feed, in PurE2 Plugins, to DL and install. He says there are none there, which is false.


    And so on... How many times does one need to tell him that I installed it from JD feed and that it does install and it starts fine, no errors during installation...???
