    If one has Edision OS mio 4K and installs the latest PurE2 v. 6.2, also sporting ffmpeg 4.1.3 - but gets an error, like so:


    MENU > Information > About > Software> ffmpeg > "mmand n" (or so)


    then, one should Telnet into Edision (via PuTTy, for instance) and send the following commands:

    opkg update

    When finished, give this one:

    One should get the following output:

    hi Pure2 team , first of all , thank you for this wonderful image , been using it a month or so for now , just wondering , are you aware of VMC , the media center created bt Hmmmmmmdada in the VTI team ??? is it possible we can have one day a proper PURE2 media center for local files , with the estuary skin touch ???

    1) Can you get us a good description of VMC (VTI Media Centre?), please? I have never tried it.


    2) What makes it different and especially better than E2 built-in player, which also has a very good DVD player, MP1, MP2, E2iPlayer, Kodi, ServiceApp players - which all play local files? They are all available in PurE2, if not by default, then in the feeds, together with more such plugins, like EMC and so on?

    Flash Zgemma H9 Combo with a new secondary bootloader, for a new eMMC partitioning system


    Multiboot is ready, including an Android partition!


    1) Download H9comborecovery here: http://pur-e2.club/OU/images/i…digital/H9combo-Recovery/

    2) Unzip it to a compatible USB memory stick formatted in FAT32.

    3) Download a normal h9combo zip here: http://pur-e2.club/OU/images/index.php?dir=6.2/airdigital/

    4) Send it as it is (do NOT unzip/decompress this file!) to the same USB memory stick.

    5) Insert the USB stick into H9 Combo's front USB port.

    6) Press the white power button at the back, while holding the small black reset button. Let the black one go when...

    7) Flashing of a new Multiboot/partitioning system starts (at the end, eMMC will have 4 x E2 and 1 x Android partition).

    8) After reboot, one is given choices - for now, we should (go into a recovery mode and) flash the local image from USB stick => i.e. "h9combo.zip". One will also see an Android partition - but we are still waiting for that OS to be published...

    P.S. This recovery procedure is to be done only once, in order to install the secondary bootloader and repartition the flash/ROM/eMMC - or if there are significant changes and partitioning is about to be changed.


    P.P.S. We now have, in effect, Multiboot ready - 4 x E2 partitions are here... Accessible from Standby/Restart Menu, as usual...

    Running v.6.3beta on my Vu+ solo 4K 2without issue, my question is if I donate to the FNC by Franc plugins will it remove the countdown timers from them when you exit from the plugin. If so how will it know, would it be a different link to down load from again? Sorry if question been answered before but cannot find it anywhere.

    Countdown? Go to MENU of an FNC plugin and put it the way you need it to be. Donation message can be put to OFF.


    However, donate, by all means - you will then get YIFY "unlocked" for higher quality/resolutions and that's really cool!


    Just let Franc know you donated via a PM and you will get the KUD number from him unlocking YIFY...
